Most beautiful historical places in Assam

Assam is an state of India. Which has 32 district and 125 towns. The capital of Assam is Dispur. One horned Rhino is the state animal of Assam and white winged wood duck is the state bird. State dance of Assam is Bihu dance and state song of Assam is O mor aponar dex ( by Lakshminath Bezbarua ).
              Today we discuss here about most beautiful historical places in Assam. Generally in Assam there are lost of historical places, but today we discuss here few of them which are really amazing places. Which are as follow-------------

             1. Agnigarh
             2. Talatal Ghar
             3. Kareng Ghar
             4. Rang Ghar
             
AGNIGARH:-
        This is the fortress buit by Banasura for keeping his daughter named Usha in isolation. It is located in Tezpur. Presently it is a well landscaped garden on the hill with amazing statues to be  viewed along it's tenght and breadth.

           



TALATAL GHAR:-
               The Talatal Ghar is located in Rangpur, 4 km from present-day Sivasagar, in Upper Assam. It is one of the grandest examples of Tai Ahom architecture. The Talatal Ghar is also the largest of all Tai Ahom monuments. The talatal Ghar was constructed by Ahom king Swargadeo Rudra Singha.



 


KARENG GHAR:-
                      Kareng Ghar also known as The Garhgaon Palace, is located in Garhgaon 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from savasagar, in Upper assam, India.Of all Ahom ruins, the Kareng Ghar is one of the grandest examples of Ahom architecture. The palace structures were made of wood and stone. In 1751 Sunenphaa, son of Sukhrungphaa, constructed the brick wall of about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) in length surrounding the Garhgaon Palace and the masonry gate leading to it.
After the destruction of the old palace it was rebuilt around 1752 as the present seven-storied structure by Suremphaa.


RANG GHAR:-
          Rang Ghar is one of the two storied oval-sharped pavilion from which the Ahom rayalties watched elephant fight and other sporting events. It is situated at joysagar. It was built by the king Pramatta Singha in 1744-1751 and it stands close to the Kareng Ghar.
